Can i spray paint a dresser with metalic colors of silver and gold?

- Finished with Minwax Polyshades in high gloss
- Color is a dark rich Mahogany

yes, just use primer first
I would lightly sand first , wipe with damp rag. Paint will adhere better.
The anwer is yes. However, certainly sand lightly, maybe use a primer that is a gray color. I have done this sort of thing and later regretted it. It it is a fine piece of furniture, don't do it. ;)
