Can I paint a glass tile backsplash a different color?
prep prime and paint
Directions
1. Scrub the tiles with TSP and degrease them with rubbing alcohol. Allow grout to dry completely, about two days.
2. Prime the tiles. Make sure the primer is specifically formulated to adhere to your backsplash, like Zinsser Bulls-Eye.
3. Brush on two coats of paint, allowing sufficient drying time between (follow the manufacturer's instructions).
Haven't had the energy yet but I have researched many sites on pintrest. A friend did it but didn't change the color of the grout. The tile looked good but I would have done the grout a white or cream.
