How do i give gray chalk paint a barnwood or weathered wood loo look?

I refinished an old bureau that I love with gray chalk paint. Let me explain.....originally we stained and put an oil and wax finish on the bureau. I painted with white chalked paint and it was a disaster! It bleed horribly through the white paint. So I painted it with two or three coats of gray chalked paint and now it is just plain, dull and boring! Does anyone know how I can make it look like barnwood or weathered wood?

You can water down some white chalk paint and paint over the gray fur a weathered look. I used a similar technique when I stained and painted DIY string light posts: https://momhomeguide.com/diy-string-light-planter-posts/
