How do I paint a kitchen table and chairs?

I'm thinking of doing my kitchen table in Iron gate but am unsure what to accent with. possibilities copper, grey, off white. I live in a log house with a lot of wood. I'm wanting to break it up some.

I dont think you want to have too much of a bright color, so going with the greys might be best.

Hello Terry,

We have a log cabin as well and too much wood is so dark and dreary, I completely understand. We were Lucky as the previous homeowners put paneling in some of the bedrooms and painted it and it makes a world of difference compared to the dark Cedar log walls outside in the hall.
