How can I make a raised/sculpted stencil medium?
There was a recent Hometalk post with instructions on how to make your own stenciling medium, using school glue, baby powder and paint. It gave quantity amounts to use like a recipe, and I can't find it. It creates a raised design.

I like to mix joint compound (the pre-mixed kind, not powder) and Aleene's tacky glue. The glue helps with flexibility, smoothness, and maybe helps it stick. I don't measure, just make sure you don't use too much glue. I used this on a piece 15 years ago. Not a single problem. I've also used it on little wood pieces for decorations, and on heavy watercolor paper for cards and tags.

Hi Sue! You can also add SaltWash to your paint to make the stencil raised! :)
