dont paint it use Privacy film
Reminds me of the squirRLes idea..they believe if they don't move they become invisible...lol..the SAD tRUTH IS..IF YOU CAN SEE OUT..THEY CAN SEE IN...MAYBE NOT AS WELL IF IT'S DARKER ON THE INSIDE..BUT..THEY STILL CAN...TWO WAY MIRRORS DON'T HELP EITHER BECAUSE SAME REASON, IF IT'S DARKER ON THE INSIDE, THEY WON'T SEE YOU INSIDE, BUT ONCE YOU TURN ON A LIGHT, IT'S rEVERSED..THEY CAN SEE YOU BUT aLL you see is mirror...& paint...is pretty much the same thing...maybe spring for some thin blinds & experiment with their level of openess?..or..there is prisim window films you can get on Amazon, it goes on the glass & it is clear but frosted or other patterns in it to break up clarity...making seeing in or out impossible but still letting in the light (sorry for caps, not shouting, i hIt the dang cAPS KEY TOO MANY TIMES & MY POOR FINGERS ARE GETTING EXHAUSTED FROM TOO MUCH BACKTRACKING...LOL)

Im looking at some options now.
I’ve seen images using a nice lace fabric either attached to the window by starch or stretched on a wooden frame. That or sheer curtain might be useful.
Some of the plastic frosted films seems suitable for private privacy screening .
