The countertop is from Lowes, it is a fake black granite look in matte finish. I want to add sheen to it so it looks more realistic.

I'm repeating what I wrote to Linda.
I have the kind of tiles with grout (not vinyl or linoleum) and those rounded curved edges. they go right up and under the sink.
I may just regrout or I'll end up with an epoxy mess I won't be able to diy out of.
I just saw that I can add a photograph.
