Spray painting in windy conditions

KatAych on Mar 23, 2016Is there a spot - maybe between your house and a fence - that allows you ample room to spray? If so, you could tape up plastic sheeting around the sides, leaving the top open for ventilation and do your own "booth." If not, you could use PVC pipe to construct a booth.Helpful Reply

Rc Shoe on Mar 24, 2016My problem wasn't so much wind, as the random Florida sun showers that would splotch up my work. I picked up a cabana tent that is perfect for small jobs and takes up very little storage space. Search ebay "Quick Stability Cabana Beach" for a new one for <$25Helpful Reply

MN Mom on Mar 24, 2016I've used a large cardboard box as a wind break. Depending on how big of an item you're spraying you could try this. I usually lay down newspapers or plastic sheeting, put the box up and then get to spraying!Helpful Reply
