I had regular ceramic on mine. I tore it all out, had the same problem, couldn't keep the grout clean and the bull nose piece around the counter kept chipping. Perhaps you could dye the grout a different color. They make a grout dye that can be purchased at tile stores. Then put a sealer over that. They may have some suggestions as well
