What do you think of stenciling a bathroom floor?

My bathroom has too much black, the vanity box and top, along with the tile floors And grout. I have painted the walls and plan to replace the vanity top. The white toilet is the first thing you notice when you walk in the room. Rather than tear out the tile floor, what do you think of stenciling the floor much like the new cement tiles? I am not artsy/craftsy, but I think I could do it. Thanks
