What is the best grey wall paint with beige/tan undertones?

Andrea on Jan 30, 2014My favorite is Sherwin Williams' Perfect Greige. I used it throughout my retail shop. I wanted something beige and neutral with a touch of grey and it really IS perfect!Helpful Reply

Andrea on Jan 30, 2014I used satin. Also, I used the paint plus primer. It went on very smooth and only needed one good coat, then a light touch up coat in spots. The walls were flat white before and had tons of patched up holes, so the coverage was well worth the extra money spent!Helpful Reply

Margie*Lee on Feb 01, 2014This advice came from a friend's contractor...go to any store you will be buying the paint from and pick up four each of the sample colors you are considering. Tape like sample cards together to make a square and tape them on your wall to see how that color will work for you and how it will look in YOUR lighted room. Grey is a tough color. I know because I used it in the flooring of our remodeled bathroom and didn't realize how many "colors" their can be in grey.Helpful Reply

Margie*Lee on Feb 01, 2014I have done that and it works great! It's also cheaper than buying sample cans of paint. It's nearly impossible to decide on colors in a store where the lighting is nothing like your lighting at home. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Fabulous Finishes by Michelle on Feb 01, 2014I just painted my living room in SW Bungalow Beige. The gray/beige tones change throughout the day, depending on the lighting. I used eggshell sheen in case I want to put some type of decorative paint finish over it later. www.FabulousFinishesByMichelle.comHelpful Reply

KathrynElizabeth Etier on Feb 01, 2014It depends on how much beige you want in your gray or vice versa. I'd suggest either taupe or greige.Helpful Reply

Amy on Feb 01, 2014BM Revere Pewter is used by a lot of decorators/designers. It's more tan than gray but looks gray in some lights. You can do a search online for the color and see some painted rooms. Good luck!Helpful Reply
