JL Spring & Associates on Oct 09, 2011Good stuff Belle, I'm familiar with this "Critter Ridder!" works for me with cats for sure! Don't have running loose dogs but I may put some down on a common fence near a walk path to the river...Thanks for reminding me! Best 2 U! JLHelpful Reply

3po3 on Oct 09, 2011I have kept cats and dogs from doing their business in a planter by spreading lemon peels and cayenne pepper. Not sure how practical that is over an entire lawn, but if they have a favorite spot, it's worth a shot.Helpful Reply

3po3 on May 04, 2012I don't have that problem around here. It rarely rains, and the problem planter doesn't get any direct precipitation anyway. But I lived in Chalmette for a year, so I understand the rain you get in La.Helpful Reply
