Halloween Sidewalk Lanterns

We don't have streetlights in our neighborhood and the sidewalk leading up to our front porch is quite dark, I enlisted the help of my kids in creating these cute little Sidewalk Lanterns to decorate the front sidewalk for Halloween. The best part of the craft (other than the fun we had making them) is that the "lanterns" are made out of simple items you might already have in your pantry!
Here they are up close in the daylight. You could make these for practically any outdoor occasion.

For safety reasons, recommend the use of flameless candles.
You can find the tutorial for this simple lantern craft on my website! (follow link below.)

Our sidewalk to the front door is dark too. I was just thinking I need to do something to add light. This is a great idea.

I usually line my driveway with paper bags that I've drawn or painted jack o'lantern faces on. With a little sand in the bottom, I can drop in a tea light, and they'll glow for hours. They WILL catch on fire if a trick or treater tries hard enough, however.
