My Painted Front Door

Our door needed to be painted. Badly. And because John has had very little say in colors ( or in decor period ) in this fixer upper we bought - I let him choose the color.
This is what he chose and I can't tell you the difficult time I'm having with it.
We added the shutters ( made out of cedar fence planks ) and I love them - it's the door that's filling me with anxiety LOL
More photos on the blog ( where the general consensus is he's right and I'm wrong )
I see a clown house with a big red nose in the middle of it !
The flowers will be gone shortly and replaced with 2 urns on either side of the door
( I can't throw them out until they die - the cooler temperatures will make that happen soon enough )
