How to Build a Barn Door
Do you love the look of barn doors?
I sure do, and I have been itching to have one in our own home.
When we built our new front porch, it added a space where we created a mudroom, and I decided our mudroom would be the perfect place for a barn door!

When we built our new front porch, it added a space where we created a mudroom, and I decided our mudroom would be the perfect place for a barn door!
We decided to build our own barn door instead of using a door we already had, but you could do either.
We started with ten 2x4's to cover the width of our door.
We attached trim pieces around the edges of our door with Gorilla Glue and a nail gun.
We cut 1x4's to create the "X" at the bottom of our barn door.
