before and after
I bought this desk for $5 off someone's front lawn! I loved the little peg legs!
Supplies List
I wanted to attach new hardware and the new hardware I bought didn't match up with the existing holes (of course) so I needed to fill in the existing holes with wood filler.
I decided to paint it with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Provence!
After one coat.
I sanded (220 grit) in-between coats of paint for a silky smooth surface.
mix 1 part water with 1 part white paint and paint the mixture onto your surface, immediately wiping it off afterwards.
Here's what it should like like when you are done!
Wax with Annie Sloan Clear Wax
Drill new holes and attach new hardware
You are finished!
Add some fun drawer liners if you want!
