Use a Projector for Overscale Damask Wall & Ceiling Design

I did this project many years ago. I needed a little pick~me~up at the time, so I decided to make my bedroom nice and feminine JUST FOR ME! The wall was already a very dark purple, so I decided to use damask - which I LOVE to brighten it up a bit.
I printed out my favorite damask design and had staples put it on to a transparency for a projector. When using this method, make sure you tape the transparency onto the projector so it doesn't move around.

I wanted a tone on tone, so I used the same color that was on the wall originally, which was a semigloss or satin, but I used a flat for the damask.
For those of you who have seen my xray art pieces, these prints were my inspiration for those pieces. I bought these prints YEARS ago from zgallerie.com and still use them today (even though they aren't framed quite as I would choose - note to self: let's spice those frames up a little!)
I then wanted to showcase my new petite chandelier, so I turned that projector onto the ceiling. I used a very pale lilac-ish color.
It's very tranquil to me. I know most of you will not enjoy the dark color of these walls, but this can obviously be done with any color of your choosing. Just remember, in order to get that tone on tone look, you have to use the same color with different sheens.

This project was done so long ago that these are all of the pictures I have.
