Ruffled Lamp Shade - Quick Fix

I bought some lamps at my local thrift store. The shades were pretty banged up and needed a face lift. This is an inexpensive way to hide all the flaws.
I will paint or cover the inside of the shade to hide the white you see.
Start by cutting circles in your fabric. They don't need to be perfect circles, just keep the size about the same, I started with 4" squares and rounded them.
A little dab of hot glue in the center.
Pinch together to make a flower shape.
It took about 300 for this large shade.
Just start hot gluing them in place.
I thought the gluing would never end...keep gluing so they are nice and tight together.
Getting close to the end now.
The white you see on the bottom is the inside of the shade, I will paint it to match or cover using the same fabric.
