Plumber26 on Jun 08, 2012May not be much help but, there is a place in Greensboro, NC called CS&P on Bessemer Ave. that specializes in oddball repair parts for older plumbing fixtures (assuming yours is older). It's not THAT far from Raleigh! The guys name is Cliff and do NOT go there without your old parts in hand. Other than that, I don't know of any other place other than trying to contact American Standard, send them pictures and they may be able to help you locate the correct parts. Side note; you CAN replace the valve without destroying the tile! What I ddo in situations like that is cut an oblong hole in the tile around the valve so the faucet (three handles, I'm again assuming) can be removed. Then after I cut it out I install a single handle valve with an oblong remodel plate. http://www.wolverinebrass.com/catalog.htm We (the company I work for) on occasion do work in Raleigh so if you get really desparate I can see about helping you with your issue.Helpful Reply

3po3 on Jun 09, 2012Sounds like your neighbor there has a solid solution. If not, have you called a large local plumbing contractor? They should be able to point you in the right direction.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jun 11, 2012Most high quality plumbing supplies should be able to help you out. But as Plumber 26 said, have your parts in hand to match. Most if not all faucets and shower valves can be repaired. It is just the plumber that does not want to do that type of work as they can get a whole lot more doing the rip out and replace method. There are a few parts in a faucet that most people do not know about. One is the seat. This little part inside the faucet assembly is often forgot about and is the easiest part to replace. And more often then not when its not replaced even with new washers installed will case the faucet to continue to leak when turned off. Here is a web site you might find useful on faucet repairs. http://www.faucetinstructions.com/older-peerless-pegasus-kitchen-faucet-parts-blowup.htmlHelpful Reply
