How much should it cost to fix siding in this house? (see pictures) house is about 2.400 SF

    I agree with Bob. Looks like it would pay to improve the drainage at your house before working on the siding. As far as a cost estimate, it's hard to say without knowing what material you want, etc. I recommend getting at least three estimates. You should be able to find reliable contractors here on HomeTalk. Good luck, Ran.

    If that is all the damage it shouldn't be much. Just replace the bad wood and replace. probably under $40.
  • If you did it yourself and had the paint...about $40....otherwise...probably around $100. We do a ton of repairs like this at HandyANDY

    buy some hardy board it's not to high in price and ya can spray it any color just make sure ya get the primed,then ya can paint it

    also put a turn on your down spout, so it shoots the water away from your home and add a splash gaurd,where the water comes out,it will help Remeber (HARDYBOARD)

    The reality is ya it could cost you the figures ball parked here but you won't know until you open it up. Check for water damage which may have led to rot. It looks like your on a slab foundation, any moisture problems inside, visible, musty smells, wet smells etc... If your lucky the prices here would be accurate. But any time your home and water meet it's usually always a can of worms. I've seen the smallest repair job turn in to hundreds later. Not trying to scare you just giving a deeper perspective.
