Storage Room Organization
by

My spring break project was storage room organization. I built a custom shelving unit to hold a lot of weight and fit it (just barely) into my small storage room. Then I went through the boxes and vacuum sealed many of the items to maximize my space. I am so relieved!
This was a huge project but so worth it. Anyone with basic tool knowledge (and the right tools) can build this unit and use a friend or someone to help you assemble it.

I labeled the bins with Duck Tape and Sharpie
This is the closet under the stairs which was filled to the brim before this project...you couldn't walk to the back like you can now, and now I can access my small little food storage.
Enjoyed the project?

Marion Nesbitt on Apr 18, 2014Daughter has exactly the same set up with labelled bins in one end of her basement. Amazing amount of storage in a small space. Indispensable.
