Easy and Elegant White Sharpie Pumpkins

Last Halloween, my kids chose Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven as the theme for our decorations. I hand wrote (part of) the poem on a white pumpkin with a Sharpie paint pen as part of our display.
I drew lines lightly with pencil to help me keep my writing straight, and then I just started in on the poem, channeling my long neglected penmanship skills.
I wanted a grouping of three pumpkins, so I added a spider web and spider design to one of the others and did some simple stripes with a gold Sharpie on the last one. I tried them out outside (in front of our raven planter box!), but then moved them in and displayed them on this black chair.
