cd/dvd racks...I just read a neat idea for repurposing them.
I was just on another site..and read a purpose for old cd/dvd racks: use in bathroom to hold extra tp, hand towels etc. Or in garden to hold little bird houses, pretty pots etc. Head BANGING here, I had a couple just hanging around, I let them go! So now I will have to keep my eyes open for some REASONABLY priced. Even gwill is high on stuff like that. But they sure would work in hubs bathroom, or his office! Even hanging on the wall works! Anyone else have ideas? Like the shoe bags? What a thread!!! Love it!
And I won't pretend I listen to every CD in my collection every week, but I do always have music on, and it's a pretty wide variety. I started collecting them back in high school in the early 90s, but the oldest recordings I have are probably some Woody Guthrie stuff from back in the 30s. I ...»

My Mom was a big music lover so I too have a wide range of likes though mine spans the gap in yours. A couple examples would be the Andrews Sisters from the 40s, Nat King Cole from the 50s. Ofcourse there's Elvis and so many more. Though I don't have all of my favorites on CDs or even albums, I do have them on You Tube. I love that site.
