Vintage Halloween Cards
I'm a sucker for anything vintage and recently acquired two Halloween cards that I think are unique. They haven't been used and were made to hold a sucker. I can see a 1940's or 50's mom dropping these into trick-or-treat bags. Have you seen anything like these?
This owl card is my favorite.
Note that the cards have a short poem at the bottom.
I displayed the cards on my kitchen table with my grandmother's ceramic pumpkin from the 1980's. When I would visit her in college, she always had this on her kitchen table in October. On Halloween, she would put a tea light in it and put it on her front porch to great trick-or-treaters.
