All this Man Cave talk today reminds me of an article last year that was essentially an obituary for the man cave. It's a hilarious piece of writing with some great euphemisms for man cave and even a timeline. I also love this graphic.

Not that I even really agree. If I had the room, I would love to have a man cave (although it would be more focused on board games and an awesome stereo system than video games and a big TV for sports).

I would love to have somebody "crash" our garage to get it fully functional as a woodwork shop complete with an air filtration/vacuum system and wood storage. Maybe HGTV has something similiar to Yard Crashers or Kitchen Cousins but for garages. It would make keeping the house cleaner and I know he would love having it all organized.

We're working on doing that in our basement Kelly. We just purchased to very large Craftsman cabinets for more storage options in the woodwork shop. I've slowly been getting him to realize the importance of having a place for everything and everything in it's place. I recently gave up my fabric storage area (and believe that was allot of space) in the basement bringing it upstairs so he could use that area to store wood. Next step will be to frame and finish the walls with drywall so we can put in the vacuum system. That's a must with my allergies.
