Follow your H on Sep 20, 2015I made two of them 7 years ago and they are still holding up well. http://followyourheartwoodworking.blogspot.ca/2009/12/adirondack-chair.html I do describe some of the steps that I took in my blog, but for a more detailed explanation you can find the Popular Woodworking Norm Abram version that I made as a download from them here: http://www.shopwoodworking.com/norm-abrams-adirondack-chair?There are different versions and some are very deep and hard to get out of. Some have straight backs and are easier to make but not as comfortable to sit in. The ones I made are very comfortable with curved backs and easy to get in and out of.Helpful Reply

Mary Kust on Sep 22, 2015Try Woodcraft (at woodcraft.com) they had patterns for Adirondack chairs at one time. We made a couple from the pattern, and our 15 year old grandson made one this summer while visiting us.Helpful Reply
