Z on Nov 08, 2015Is that a reflection of a window or a window in another room? Either way, I'd close it in on one side and make it into a display box or for storage.Helpful Reply

Sandra on Nov 08, 2015Will a TV fit into it? It won't cost much to fill in one wall, unless it's plaster. Drywall is not very expensive and a handy man can do it for you. Or a good friend or neighbor. Put a flat screen in the other wall.Helpful Reply

Catherine Morales on Nov 08, 2015I have a fish tank that is HUGE but does not contain any fish - (we haven't refinished the floors so we don't want to have it moved multiple times. I currently keep keepsakes in it as if it were a large display. You can put additional glass shelves in it and the fish lighting lights the displays. I also put my Christmas village inside it (in my case also the top) and it makes a beautiful display during the holidaysHelpful Reply

Linda Johnson on Nov 09, 2015You could put collages of family pictures inside facing out. Use different pictures facing each wall. Place them on something firm before putting up. I wouldn't adhere them directly to the glass. It would look like a frame of family pictures, if you use a a picture mat.Helpful Reply

Inetia on Nov 09, 2015Cover it with a large photo or painting & use it as a hiding place. If it's not flush to the wall use molding to bridge the gap.Helpful Reply

Lori Harmon on Nov 11, 2015Is it in a good place for viewing the flat screen TV? I have seen one of these converted into a terrarium if you aren't wanting to remove the tank. But I'm with kaioverbeck, I'd use it for fish - I'd just have to resist the temptation to go saltwater!Helpful Reply

Country Design Home on Nov 17, 2015It should be basically just a self-contained fish tank that has been fitted to the wall opening and then trimmed out. I would carefully remove the trim, then slide the tank out. (remove the water first : ) In its place you could put some glass or wood shelving if you want it to remain open and display some of your favorite pieces. Or once its removed, add a piece of wall board on either or both wall sides, tape off and plaster to close up the hole.Helpful Reply
