What is the best wall color to really brighten the inside of my dark, open concept home?

Jeanette S on Mar 10, 2013One color I have used in the past that is just a very happy color was a long time ago and it was a parchment...I think by Beher. It is almost a non-color more than ivory. Once on, it becomes a color! The color was that of a very good PARCHMENT WRITING PAPER! If light is a problem, you will never go wrong buying one of those sample jars and trying out the color around in different places...I know...I fell in love with Ralph Lauren's COTTONWOOD but it turned brown in my den! Best $4 I ever spent! Paint a foot square spot all around...you can cover it later. (I walked in a friend's house and said, this s COTTONWOOD by Ralph Lauren. She was shocked, but that is how much I loved that color!) If your color does not come in a sample jar, buy a pint and do the same thing! IT IS WORTH THE PRICE! Paint is expensive and putting it up is too hard to take a chance!Helpful Reply
