Jonnie Hammon on Nov 22, 2015Gray, being a neutral color, will go with any other color. I, personally, would go with a darker jewel toned color.Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Nov 22, 2015I would choose a pretty pattern with the color gray you are painting with darker contrasting colors such as cranberry etc.Helpful Reply

Elizabeth on Nov 22, 2015Mine is gray. I have a light wall to wall carpet. My woodwork in the room is white and my bedspread is a dark red with silver/gray paisley. I get lots of compliments. When I change things out this spring I am going with Navy.Helpful Reply

Teresa on Nov 22, 2015I painted my walls with Behr's Evening Hush (dark gray) and bought a quilt from Bed, Bath, & Beyond (Shelby Reversible Quilt - plum, taupe, and green), I have black furniture, plum sheers over black blinds (morning sun) with white distressed wood cornices, white distressed wood wall shelves, and gray carpet squares. I am still in the process of painting the woodwork a muted, creamy white. Mine is a very relaxing bedroom.Helpful Reply

Kim on Nov 22, 2015Yes gray is neutral and will go with anything. I saw a beautiful bedroom with gray walls and the bed had white linens. The accent colour was a muted yellow. The lamp beside the bed was this colour with a white shade and a gorgeous throw sat at the end of the bed. There was a pillow with the colour as well. It was a very beautiful room. Whatever colour or colours you choose as accent(s) make sure that you love the colour. Good luck with your decor.Helpful Reply

Julies1949 on Nov 22, 2015I like to change up the look with the seasons. I would find a duvet cover with one white side(a cleaner crisper look for summer) and a darker color (warmer and more cozy) on the other. If you can't find one, they are so easy to make. I would keep the drapes a neutral color that blends with the wall color. It's easy to find pillow covers for your accent pillows so you can also change them seasonally.Helpful Reply

Deborah Lopez on Nov 22, 2015I did mine this charcoal grey because I saw it in a home magaizine. They had it with white sheets and bright yellow pillows. I loved it. So I went and found this pattern and made a headboard with it. I have dark grey sheets on my bed and I need to make my bright yellow throw pillows.Helpful Reply

Diana Deiley on Nov 22, 2015Gray is a wonderful neutral color. Adding white and black would crate an elegant sophisticated look. Pops of your favorite color can be added with accessories, flowers, accent pillows, wall art or a simple throw. Have lots of fun.Helpful Reply

Kini on Nov 22, 2015This was a custom gray I used. Its 72 drops of black to 1 gal of white paint. I love this color because it has no under tones of red or blue.Helpful Reply

Johnchip on Nov 23, 2015I use a concrete grey and it is marvelous with all kinds of art work, ceramics and woods in the room. really show off everything. Use a satin finish, it will help make a glow to the room. For fabric lmost any color will work, but I would avoid a big bright one as it will overwhelm all else in the room. I have a great subtle salmon color with faded pale green and rose flower pattern, very French, looks great the older and more faded it has gotten the better vintage look it has taken on. The rest of the room is a olive green fabric which brings the outdoors in, as the room is on second floor in the tree tops. Bright white silk oriental on floor lifts everything up.Helpful Reply

Ama2220194 on Nov 23, 2015I just remodeled my master using Gray and trimmed in brilliant white and accented in a gold/yellow...it turned out so pretty. Very clean and fresh looking...used wire type baskets for decoration/storage...beautiful. My hubby wasn't even mad when he came home from a hunting trip to a brand new bedroom because it seriously costs less than $60.00...curtains, rug and accent pillows were $40 at Tuesday Morning store and the paint was on sale at Lowes for like $18.00...my comforter was already a light gray.Helpful Reply
