..Or maybe they missed the common sense lecture that day...that the primary reason people install roofs is to stay dry.

    Correct on all counts....I have seen some really funky stuff designers and architects come up with only to throw the challenge of actually building it and making it "work" to somebody else. If that is the case some of the cool drawings my girls made in 3rd grade would qualify.

  • Alot of the McMansions in metro Atlanta have designs that will always lead to leaks. Those 2-story great rooms that abut another 2-story eat-in or keeping area of the kitchen cause fits for homeowners as they often create a dead area between the two. I get my share of calls to fix & repair them so I shouldn't complain!
