KMS Woodworks on Feb 15, 2012Four big bold colors...plus zebra...to me that is a bit over the top. I guess I'm a bit of a older hippie who likes earth tones...LOL. I would stick with just two...perhaps the lime walls with some orange trim. The pink / orange thing sounds like a dangerous mix.Helpful Reply

Phyllis M on Feb 15, 2012The comforter I purchased is orange on one side and pink on the other. The purple and lime green will only be accent colors. The curtains are pink sheers.Helpful Reply

Yamini LEED AP at Urbanmotifs on Feb 15, 2012Phyllis I would choose one neutral color like gray to bind all these hot colors together. have you thought about a headboard in zebra print? Gray walls, white bed and linen with orange comforter and lamp shades in green will be awesome. i know it is heard for some to visualize this but I am seeing this room come together. Also don't forget some Idea Paint on the wall to extend this creative and colorful space for your GD's won creativity!Helpful Reply

Project Style, LLC on Feb 15, 2012The time of day that the room receives sun will affect how the wall color looks. If the room receives morning sun, you could choose a "warmer" color; if the room receives afternoon sun, you might want to choose a "cooler" color. We recommend painting several pieces of poster board with your choices and looking at them in different places in the room and at different times of the day.Helpful Reply

Peace Painting Co., Inc. on Feb 16, 2012We did a bonus room like this in the Disney colors. It sounded so strange and came out really nice. The ceiling was blue. It's fun to let the kids have their fun space. Nice picture you have there. CPHelpful Reply

HandyANDY - Handyman & All Repairs, LLC on Feb 16, 2012Trying out on some poster board is a great idea and move the boards around the room. You may want to try a couple of colors....one main and the other as a stripe on one wall just to see how it looks....and feels. We tend to forget that color is just as much how it makes us feel as opposed to a simple look. Good thing is...if you hate the look on one wall....just use tinted primer to cover it up and your canvas is ready again!Helpful Reply
