Ideas for painting 4x8' sheets of fake brick

Any suggestions for painting on fake brick? Not the actual painting but ideas on color combinations or solid colors that look really good. This is for a kitchen. Thanks!

Cabinets are light oak, floor, countertops and walls are not determined yet. I'm hoping to get all the ideas together before doing anything. Just have to work with the fake brick as it's up and quite solid on the walls and my husband doesn't want to tear it down. Not sure if I should just paint it the same wall colors as on the other walls in the kitchen and dinette or if I should paint it more like brick in some coordinating colors??? Any help much appreciated.

I would co ordinate it with the counter top, and tie in the wall colour.
