Liona Shareing on Apr 07, 2016I'd suggest a nice natural looking carpet This one is8x10 seagrass at Home depot for $157 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Legend-Natural-Seagrass-8-ft-x-10-ft-Area-Rug-HLSGR80/203137145 They have some other indoor outdoor rugs that are less expensive which would wear well and not show dirt, easy to clean and go beautifully with the colors you have in the room. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-Brown-Border-7-ft-7-in-x-10-ft-10-in-Indoor-Outdoor-Area-Rug-3108-53-65/202945217 this is a plainer rug http://www.homedepot.com/p/Kaleen-Habitat-Inland-Trellis-Linen-8-ft-x-10-ft-Indoor-Outdoor-Area-Rug-2101-42-8x10/204705114 or http://www.homedepot.com/p/Kaleen-Habitat-Garden-Harbor-Linen-8-ft-x-10-ft-Indoor-Outdoor-Area-Rug-2108-42-8x10/204705105 colors in your room if you like a patternHelpful Reply

Vic C. on Apr 07, 2016I think you should either go for grey color to match your sofa, e.g: Safavieh New Orlean Shag Collection (8' x 10') http://amzn.to/1VbSzE2 or Beige color to match your chaise http://amzn.to/1VbSSPf; or Safavieh Shadow Box Shag Collection (8' x 10'): Light Grey color http://amzn.to/23lSmzL or Beige color http://amzn.to/1TEtxfI If you like it with patterns, maybe you can look into Safavieh Florida Shag Collection, Cream & Smoke Area Rug (8' x 10') http://amzn.to/1Nbvjyi. Of course there are lots of options to choose from in the market, just mix & match according to your preference. There's no right or wrong in interior designing! Enjoy! Vic C.Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Apr 07, 2016I would select a color that would blend not match with your furniture and flooring. The flooring looks very pretty so I would opt for just an area rug in front of the couch.Because your room has a lot of naturals a lightly pattern carpet with hues of color would look very nice.Helpful Reply

MN Mom on Apr 07, 2016What a beautiful room! Is would suggest and rectangular area rug in colors that coordinate with your furniture. That pop of green you're using already is so nice with the grey. Check out Home Depot or Kohls for area rugs. A floral rug would look wonderfulHelpful Reply

PamelaBlake on Apr 08, 2016Go for green, you have a lot of accent color with green, also the plate in the kitchen stuck out, first thing I noticed. I like your taste too.Helpful Reply

2045673 on Apr 08, 2016I suggest a ROUND rug to break up all the angles of the room. It needs to have some of the green you have in there now, but you need to bring in another color. Pick up the beautiful teal in the pillow on your sofa. Look for a round rug that has those predominant colors and possibly a few more! Good luck!Helpful Reply

Jerilynn Watermolen on Apr 08, 2016You can use painters tape and measure like an 8'x10' rectangle rug or round to give you an idea of what a rug would look like in this size. I agree with a pear green color maybe with brown in it.Helpful Reply

Diana Deiley on Apr 08, 2016Love your home. I think an oval rug in a bright aqua would add a wonderful pop of color . Too much green would be overwhelming. Or a pop of yellow will do.Helpful Reply

Kathie Hoyt on Apr 09, 2016I suggest a berber rug at the entry to catch the dirt from shoes/boots as they enter. A variegated grey/black/beige/brown will "hide" the dirt, so you won't have to vacuum it every day. It will also pick up the color scheme of your furniture, and would be basic, functional and modest; have great wear and tear, so you can change up the color scheme of the room without worry about colors clashing.Helpful Reply

Millie Cochrun on Apr 10, 2016I noticed a chair and pillows with accent color that appears like lime green or yellow. Look for indoor-outdoor floral rug with this color and possibly acqua. I think I have seen one on line with this color combo. Good luck.Helpful Reply
