I need to get a refreshers course on proper painting newly made wood furniture.

Peace Painting Co., Inc. on Apr 17, 2012That's right, a light sand up front is easy and effective. Oil base primer will give you the smoothest surface after sanding but is more hassle to use than latex. As well, oil-base finish paint will give you the hardest and smoothest finish but takes longer to dry, has more vapors, must be cleaned up with thinner, etc. CPHelpful Reply
