Janet Pizaro on Apr 28, 2016I am thinking a light Taupe would work not to dark but will compliment the roof.Helpful Reply

MN Mom on Apr 28, 2016Take a drive around your town and see what siding colors and combinations you like on other homes. The company installing your siding should have design consultant available, too.Helpful Reply

William on Apr 28, 2016I 'm with Janet. A light taupe, tan, but also MN Mom has a good suggestion, of driving around and see what other homes have. If you see it on an existing home something may appeal o you.Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Apr 28, 2016I say go with your own inspiration and not what the neighbors have done. After all don't you want your own style.Helpful Reply

Debi53 on Apr 29, 2016I agree that a soft taupe would look good just be very careful not to choose a tone that has a pink cast to it, or your house could have a flesh tone look. You might also consider a shade of gray that has brown undertones. Before you commit to a color choice, buy some paint samples the color of your siding choice (any paint store can do a color match) and paint a large section of your siding to see how it actually looks with your roof. I would suggest choosing about 3 color samples and paint them side by side. This will give you a really good idea and comparison of your color choices.Helpful Reply

Louise on Apr 30, 2016Is your current siding in bad repair? If not, the color you have is just fine.Helpful Reply

The Bachelorette Pad Flip on May 01, 2016I think taupe would be a lot of blah with that roof! I think a beautiful blue-ish gray (more hint of blue) would look great! Especially if you trimmed in a stark white!Helpful Reply

Kathe on May 01, 2016Ours is a "silver sage" - very light muted green-gray cast. Would look good with your roof and yard.Helpful Reply

Debbie Miller on May 02, 2016A lot of colors go good with brown. I like the "Silver-sage" suggestion or maybe a pretty shade of blue. And hey, you can never go wrong with white!Helpful Reply

Mary on May 03, 2016I had my roof re-done a few years ago, and I wanted a color to go with my siding, so I chose a beautiful multi colored brown shingles for the roof. It has light to medium brown colors in it. It went beautiful with my siding which is NOT yellow, but a golden yellow. The two colors together look fantastic. My new windows were framed in white, and the house just looks so crisp. My house stands out in the block of houses that are grey, green, white, and blue. It's like my house brought a bit of fresh air to our block LOLHelpful Reply
