Can you spray paint a living tree?
I have nylon type screen, some color has worn off in 20 yrs, would like to freshen them up, they're still in good shape, hate to replace them, think I'll try taping off the frame and lightly spraying the screen.
I just bought a house built in 1979. Arizona. Most all homes here have the metal sun screens on them. Mine are green ...yuck. still in great shape. So rather than spend ungodly amounts of money to replace them, i am going to tape off frames and spray paint the screens in black. All newer homes use the black. Since my house is grey wirh black yrim, this should look great and give me 10 years or more. Im using rustoleum prime and paint. Cost me about $20 in all.
How do you keep the screens from getting clogged up?
I'm old enough to remember always repainting screens. They actually sold product which was just a thinned out black paint. Today might try applying with a fine bristle stain pad.
