Catherine Smith on Jun 16, 2013Sounds like peony support wires would be what you need to help hold them up when in bloom. To keep from transporting earwigs, you can try gently shaking the peonies to dislodge any riders. You can also spray the plant with a mixture of water and a few drops of dishwashing detergent. Just do a test spray on a small area first. Always spray early in the morning or at dusk, never in full sun. That will burn the plant.Helpful Reply

Catherine Smith on Jun 17, 2013For mildew you can add a little bit of baking soda to your spray mix. It's a natural fungicide and will help control mildew on plants without harming the plants or you. :)Helpful Reply
