Douglas Hunt on May 07, 2012I'd look to native plants that like wet spaces, Christina, and include things like great blue lobelia (Lobelia siphilitica) or its red cousin (Lobelia cardinalis), marsh marigold (Caltha palustris), blue flag iris (Iris versicolor), turtlehead (Chelone glabra) and, since your pond is small, perhaps one of the shorter cultivars of Joe Pye weed, like Eupatorium dubium "Little Joe."Helpful Reply
