Nancy Nesbitt on Jun 04, 2016That would make a stunning mirror frame to lean up against a wall. You could paint the frame black or whatever to match your decor.Helpful Reply

April Perry Bartlett on Jun 04, 2016first I would clean the frame and repair any issues. Paint/stain/gold foil it whatever suits your fancy. Then find a really pretty piece of fabric and frame it or use fabric as a backdrop for a special picture. Or you could have a mirror cut for it. It all depends on you, your imagination and the solidness of the frame.Helpful Reply

Lynne Krywulycz on Jun 04, 2016I don't know how feasible this is, but there are products out there on the web for painting glass and making a mirror. Just a thought. I agree a black frame with a mirror against a wall would be rather super.Helpful Reply

Stuart on Jun 05, 2016Using either 1x6 or 2x6 boards you could create a kind of shadow box with a variety of shelf heights and lengths within the 6'x4' frame you would then attach to the front of the box. You could paint the box materials to match or contrast with the color of the frame.Helpful Reply

Nancy on Jun 05, 2016Hang it horizontally over your bed as a headboard. Find a piece of fabric you adored cotton, weave, brocade, something with texture or shine and tack it taut to the back of the frame. Change seasonally.Helpful Reply

Tammy Thompson on Jun 05, 2016Make a loom out of it and then learn to weave. There are a lot of sites that will teach you how for free. Or find other frames distress them all the same color but go lighter as they get smaller and hang them inside each other.Helpful Reply
