Monica Koch on Jul 03, 2013Milkweed which we are trying to get repopulated for the Monarch butterflies. We used to see it growing along gravel roadsides but not anymore due to all the pesticides. The lack of it has been contributed to the decline in the Monarch population as of late.Helpful Reply

R.V.R. Farris on Jul 04, 2013Thanks, Monica Koch, I used to have the tropical milkweed at my last place. I'll make an effort to get some started here. I'm not sure if the monarchs use the Showy milkweed or not.Helpful Reply
