Debi53 on Jun 22, 2016Most people think of painting concrete, but please consider staining it instead. You can have stain mixed in any color. Solid color stain will look like paint, but paint will flake off eventually because it basically sits on top of the concrete. Stain penetrates and will never flake off. Just make sure your patio is clean and dry. You can use a sprayer or a thick nap roller. The first coat will be mostly absorbed by the concrete-which is a good thing. The second coat will give you the look you are wanting from paint. Our stain on our brick and concrete is 8 years old and through 100 degree summers and freezing winters, it still looks like new.Helpful Reply

Judy Guare on Jun 23, 2016We enlarged our patio and bought concrete paint at Home Depot, painted the whole patio with a grey color, power washed the old section first, everyone thought we had a totally new patio put in.Helpful Reply
