Dawn Reiter-Cooper on Jul 18, 2013hey Kara. I just made 2 of these. I had my son drill a hole in the center of the lid being careful not to get it too big. He got it just right so the spout is wedged in tight.Helpful Reply

Dawn Reiter-Cooper on Jul 18, 2013just drill slow and keep moving the bit around the edges making the hole bigger a little at a time. Then I used a hammer to flatten down any rough pieces on the underside and paint both sidesHelpful Reply

Felecia Rivas on Jul 20, 2013When I did mine, I took a screwdriver and hammered the top of the seal to form an "x". Then took needlenose pliers to open the "x" & tried the pump assembly to get a nice tight fit. Also, I did not put my pump right in the middle of the lid - I put mine close to the side so that the soap / lotion would be easy to pump into the hand & not get all over the lid.Helpful Reply
