Where do I find the sun catchers made from plastic beads.

I thought I saved the instructions on making my own sun catchers from plastic beads, and
I can't find it. I remember you use cake pans, plastic beads, but don't remember how hot
the oven should be, and the time. Please help. Thank you, Nancy Williams

I have this pinned on my board but don't know how to get it to you. Bake them at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. I just did this with my grand daughter and used my craft oven outside, unfortunately it only goes to 325 degrees and did not completely melt them.

Thanks for your help, think I'll try it tomorrow, Fri. I have some plastic glass like stuff that I use to use when I did ceramics, maybe I'll add some of that to it....should be interesting. Thank for your reply, I appreciate it. Nancy W.

are the cake pans lined or sprayed...when do you put the hole in to hang it up after it's made? Thank you, Nancy Williams

I sprayed mine and they did not want to come out at first, maybe they were still too warm when I tried because after a couple days they popped out. Think next time I may line the pan. Drill the hole after they bake.

I didn't spray the pans, and I made three sun catchers, baked them at 400 degrees for 30 mins. They came out ok....1 was a little "funky" I used up ceramic crushed glass that one uses for windows in churches, houses, etc. and mixed it with some plastic beads...it's ok. but I won't repeat that again. One that I used mostly blue beads, and some white, mixed with yellow, and than placed some little sea shells on top, than sprinkled some plastic pearls...it came out nice, but the pearls turned dark brown..it seems that the coating burnt, but it did shed that coating and this sun catcher is pretty sharp. Thank you all for your suggestions. Nancy Williams
