Leslie on Aug 02, 2016Hi Terry, just an fyi, Google is a font of info. I love the service, and You Tube is great if you want to see an application performed. There are many ways of achieving a patina for metals using household items and to help you get started I have included a link for several of them. As always when putting two compounds together whether biological or chemical there is always some kind of chemical reaction so protect your eye and exposed skin :) Good Luck! https://www.simplybeadskitclub.com/newsletters.html?mode=article&article_id=3115Helpful Reply

Annie Doherty on Aug 25, 2016Years ago I used natural yoghurt, coveted the article and left it outside under cover for a week and it had already started to oxide and had a greenish bronze patina, which was perfect for what I wanted.Helpful Reply

Annie Doherty on Aug 25, 2016This is also useful, to age new terracotta garden pots and items with this, I left it on and the articles outdoors and they developed an aged patina and looked so much better. Some went on to develop a mossy effect which made them look really old and expensive as old pots can be. Worth a try, cheap and effective.Helpful Reply
