Elaine on Aug 20, 2016I've seen in decor magazines where walls are covered with plain paper bags then finished with a coating of some type but if that isn't on your agenda, how about opening them up and using the flattened paper for wrapping small gifts at Christmas and other times of the year. Decorators use plain brown paper lots of times then tie with jute or something rustic looking, tuck in a piece of fresh greenery and you're done. If you're really into decorating and don't like books that have bright colored jackets throwing off your color scheme, just recover books. If the books are too large, you can still use the envelopes but you'd have to Modge Podge the (envelope) pieces on - overlapping the pieces in a "crazy quilt" fashion. Whatever you do, don't toss them out because that's exactly when you'll find a use for them! Murphy's Law! :)Helpful Reply

Pam Walker on Aug 20, 2016MAKE an Envelope Book. Google it & watch some of the videos. There's all different kinds of envelopes so there's a bunch of videos too. :) &/or you could make the books, decorate the covers with personal items & give them away to family & friends as gifts for Christmas, birthdays, wedding anniversaries or any """"keepsake"""" holiday or occasion. :)Helpful Reply
