I have chipped paint on the radiators. I’d love to strip or repaint them. Any products or suggestions?
Cover the overflow opening with a wet paper towel. Pour about 1/3 box of baking soda down the drain, then pour some vinegar down the drain. Immediately cove the drain with a cloth. The foaming will force the clog through. If it still is won't drain the clog is further down the pipes. You will need to use a plunger or plumbing snake.
For icky hair clogging problems I make sure to take out as much as possible first with a plumbing snake. Then I give the drain a good cleaning by pouring 1/2 cup baking soda down down the drain. I take a cup of boiling water mixed with a cup of vinegar and pour that over the baking soda. Bubbles means it's doing its job! Wait for the bubbles to die down and then rinse with warm tap. Good luck!
As the water doesn't drain well, I let the water run and when the drain area is covered with a few inches of water I use a plunger. It brings the hair up to the top then pull it out. Then use the baking soda and the vinegar water.
Unscrew the metal bar that controls the drain plug under the sink at the pipe it is a little nut up against the drain pipe once you have it loose, pull out on that bar under the sink that lines up with the drain to release the stopper clean off all the hair from stopper. once you taken out the drain stopper and cleaned it. Then take a1/4 cup of baking powder pour it in the drain and put some in the over flow hole then pour white vinegar in the sink and the over flow. It will start fizzing for a little while then take dawn liquid and clean sink and overflow then rinse well
