This works... Two tablespoons of dawn blue dishwashing liquid, and equal parts water and vinegar. Put it in a spray bottle and spray on the weeds. Depending on the type of weed, it begin to die that day, or a couple days later.
Just plain boiling water poured from your tea kettle works well. Just remember it will kill anything you pour it on. I use my electric tea kettle to keep weeds away.

Providing there are no other plants around or grass,make a spray with white vinegar and water 50/50 mix with blue dawn dish soap and a dab of jet dry

Some will die if you pour boiling water on them. Especially ones in cracks of driveways or sidewalks
