make a design using dots of puff paint. You can find it at any craft store.
Use stencils, then add outlines, shading, etc. to create your own designs.
Buy paint made especially for glass & paint an abstract design-stripes, dots, zigzags, etc. use bright colors for a "fun" glass or use just 2 colors (I.e. black & white) for a more understated look. Whichever way y decide to go, have fun doing it :-)
When you are done seal it with dishwasher safe mod podge.
Stencils with paint for glass, or a glass frosting kit would be nice as well.
