    I inherited an oven that apparently wasn't cleaned for years. Here's what I did.

    Heat the oven slightly, about 150Degrees. then while it's warm, make a paste of baking soda and Hydrogen Peroxide. Cover areas about 1Ft at a time so it won't dry out before you scrub it. Let it sit for about 6-10 minutes and then scrub with one of those copper scrubbers. I got my whole oven spotless, even the glass door this way. good luck

    I use 2 ounces of Dawn dish soap, 4 ounces of lemon juice, 8 ounces of white vinegar and 10 ounces of white vinegar. spray it on and let it sit overnight and wipe it out in the morning. You do not need to use heat with this.
