Are you looking at the rod "holders" that support the curtain rods? Depending upon your décor...it could be anything from 2 pieces of 2x2" square wood pieces fastened together, horse shoes with one edge bent at a right angle to "Y" shaped twigs that are whittled down so 1 side is flush to the wall & the other sticks out [NO PUN INTENDED} to hold the rod.
